The Department of Levelling Up, Housing & Communities has opened a consultation seeking views from letting agents, landlords and tenants on the introduction and enforcement of the Decent Homes Standard in the private rented sector. The proposed introduction of the Decent Homes Standard, which currently applies to the social rented sector, is part of the broader Renters’ Reform white paper.
