How to Rent guide
MHCLG have released an updated version for the How to Rent guide. What is confusing is they have stated they say they have updated the HTML version but not the PDF version. Having looked through the HTML document it doesn’t seem that anything apart from the date has changed.
MHCLG has added an How to rent – easy to read guide for tenants, which is more of a checklist for them.
Just to be clear, the easy read guide has a different name and is not the name listed in the regulations so providing that will not qualify as providing this information. It should be considered as “in addition” to the main guide, not “instead of”.
